How to use it

  1. Open a metric and check the selected date range.
  2. Read the coverage status for a day.
  3. Mark known incomplete tracking in the available Day details controls.
  4. Open a statistic to review counted days, excluded samples and the actual calculation.

What it means

Finished days with records and explicitly confirmed fully tracked zero days can count toward averages. Today, unknown coverage, marked-incomplete dates and dates before birth do not count toward that finished-day average. Period totals can still include today and partial days.

TRY AN EXAMPLE

Why a missing day isn’t zero.

These are illustrative nap totals, not diary data. Change the choices to see how the finished-day average changes.

Today · 30 minutes so far Included in period total, excluded from the finished-day average
1.5 hoursAverage of 2 eligible finished days

Period total: 3.5 recorded hours. Coverage choices do not erase the underlying logs.

Good to know

Coverage choices are phone-local. A day with some records is not proof that everything was logged. Never mark a day complete just to make a chart look fuller.
